“How Will I Know” is one of the most soul ripping tracks one can listen to. In short, one can relate, it’s track about heart break and coming out of that dark hole. It’s lyrical content provided by the wondrous Stine Grove is deep and personal. In an interview she mentions that the track does indeed have personal value to her. She statess:
When Steve and I worked on “How Will I know”, I was in a dark place in my life and on the verge of a very painful break up with someone I had thought, I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I wrote the lyrics trying to anticipate how I would feel after the goodbye when facing the empty void that would be left when we had let go of each other.

Between Steve Helstrip’s melody, Grove’s lyrical content and her angelic voice, the track weighs in as an emotional waterfall. And it is precisely why the club mix came about. This particular mix bumps a new energy into the original while preserving both vocal and instrumental melodies. Where the piano dominates the original, it is overtaken by drums and synths, giving it a fresh take. A perfect version for the clubs and festivals.
Helstrip gave fans a preview of the track at Dreamstate 2017 in San Bernardino, where he also threw out the world debut of The Thrillseekers presents Hydra. If you were present, you would’ve thought this mix was a Hydra remix to the original. Although not the case it brings about a very interesting question. With the development of The Thrillseekers presents Hydra: Is it possible that we may see a Hydra remix to this track? The track is certainly a favorite of Grove’s and of Helstrip as well. Therefore seeing yet another rendition of this track might be an interesting concept. To see what more Helstrip can extract from its beauty would be fascinating under the guise of Hydra.
This track is definitely one of those to keep in your music library, especially when you’re in the mood to just feel.
